Willie Gene Wilder, age 70, of Miracle, KY, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017.

He was born July 31, 1946, in Oaks, KY. He was born the 10th child and youngest son of the late Willie Mae and Dora Green Wilder.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters: Ethel Southerland, Ida Mae Pittman, Pauline Engle, Verlie Bruce Wilson, and Brenda Woods brothers: James Wilder, John Wilder, Clarence Wilder, and Layton Wilder.

He is survived by:

His wife of 45 years: Deania Wilder

Children: Christy (Scott) Butera and Kevin (Liz) Wilder

Grandchildren: Zachary and Logan Butera and Ryan Wilder

Sisters: Dorothy (Howard) Hensley and Barbara Hoskins

Beloved friends: Gary Woods and Ben Parks

Numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family extends its heartfelt appreciation to Caregivers and Staff at Ft. Sanders Hospital, Amedisys, and Bluegrass Caregivers.

Funeral services will be at 6:00pm on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at the Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. McKinley Miracle, Jr. and Dr. William Boyd Bingham presiding. Music will be provided by Jimmy Miracle.
Graveside services will be at 11:00am on Monday, July 24, 2017, at the Wilder Cemetery in Miracle, KY, with the Rev. Gary Miracle presiding.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at the Creech Funeral Home.
