Glenn E. Rowland was born on March 16, 1947, and passed away suddenly on June 15, 2017, in Louisville, Ky. He is survived by his wife Melissa, mother Clara, brother Fred, several nieces and a nephew. Proceeded in death by Father Natt and sister Margaret. Glenn was a resident of Dayton for many years and known as a devoted husband, son, brother and uncle. Glenn owned and operated Queen City Drywall. An entrepreneur in many areas Glenn became an expert buying and selling antique light fixtures and amassed an enormous collection. He also enjoyed traveling to the family homestead in Ewing Va. Glenn’s major passion and favorite past time was all things car related. From working on hot rods and dragsters, collecting vintage vehicles to hand building his own custom designed car, Glenn enjoyed anything automotive. He was a long time member of Road Knights of Dayton, and he especially liked being part of the action at NHRA events. Glenn shared many stories about his adventures growing up and will always be remembered for his generosity to all. If any needed his help at any time, he was never too busy to lend assistance. Glenn will be missed by all he touched during his much too brief journey on Earth.
