Velma was such a wonderful person. She was a first cousin to my first cousins, Judy, Bob and Cathy Idol. She never failed to speak or share a smile or a hug anytime I ran into her. I hadn't seen her since my cousin Judy passed away, but I always thought of her anytime I was out in the old neighborhood.
