Daisy Ruth Hobbs, age 84, of Cumberland Gap, TN, passed away June 5, 2017, at Diversicare of Claiborne County.

She was born April 1, 1933, in Claiborne County, TN, to the late Bill and Bertha Loveday Bowman.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gillis Hobbs, brother, Carl Bowman, and sister, Dorothy King.

She was a member of the Providence Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by the following members of her family:

Daughter: Phyllis (Lewis) Higgins, Cumberland Gap, TN

Granddaughter: Dani (Chad) Hunley, Knoxville, TN

Great Grandson: Campbell Hunley, Knoxville, TN

Granddaughter: Hannah (Matt) Ferguson, Church Hill, TN

Sister: Mae Sutton, Monroe, MI

Brother: Roy (Ann) Bowman, San Antonio, TX
