Bertha Miracle Rhymer, age 85, of Miracle, KY, passed away on June 3rd, 2017, at Tri State Manor surrounded by her family.

She was born in Miracle, KY, on September 16, 1931, to the late F.G. and Maudie Miracle.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bennie Rhymer, her brothers, Harding Miracle and L.J. Miracle, and her sister, Linda J. Snavely.

She believed in the Baptist faith and was a member of the Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by the following members of her family:

Grandchildren: Ron Casey (Heather) Rhymer and Robyn (Jason) Stewart

Great-grandchildren: Anastasia and Jaxon Rhymer, Raiden and Alaina Stewart

Brother: Martin (Phyllis) Miracle

Sisters: Rhoda Miracle-Howard, Zona Blakely, and Zora (Stanley) Barnett

And a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends

Funeral services will be 6:00 pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at the Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. David Miracle and Rev. Mike Sutton presiding. Music will be provided by Mike Sutton, Charles McMurray, and the Oakdale Singers.

Interment will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at the Cubbage Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at the Creech Funeral Home.
