Harlon Thomas Williams
Harlon Thomas Williams, age 31, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017, at St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY.
He was born April 14, 1986, in Middlesboro, KY, to Cornelius Williams and Diane Moore Williams.
He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Isaac Moore and Cloria Moore, step grandfather, Luther Ward, paternal grandparents, Edward and Paralee Williams, two loving aunts, Juanita Kersey and Rosetta Brock, and Uncle Estel Williams.
He leaves behind his father, Cornelius Williams, his mother, Dianna Williams, two brothers, Neal and Dusty Williams, and special friend and cousin, Lisa Kersey, and William and Kathy Cody. And countless other family, cherished friends, and colleagues and students.
He was one of the founding members of Trinity Full Gospel Church in Ferndale, and he was an evangelist in the Greyhawk Church in Jackson County. He received his Associates Degree from Southeast Community and Technical College, his Bachelor’s Degree from Lindsey Wilson College and his Master’s Degree from Argosy University. He was the Director of Adult Education at EKU, Manchester Campus, and he lived to help serve others, giving all glory to God.
In his brief life, he touched so many lives, either by speaking the Word of God or teaching.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 1:00pm at the Trinity Full Gospel Worship Church with the Rev. Jeffrey Kersey, Harold Sutton, and Alva Robinson presiding. Music will be provided by the Trinity Full Gospel Church.
Internment will follow at the Oakview Cemetery in Middlesboro, KY.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Williams, Douglas Helton, Robert Campbell, John Washam, James Rhymer, and Travis Vaughn. Honorary Pallbearers will be Neal Williams, Dusty Williams, and Lonnie Rhymer.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at the Trinity Full Gospel Worship Church.
