Geraldine Harris Siler, age 79, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away after a brief illness on April 12, 2017, at the Claiborne County Medical Center in Tazewell, TN.

She was born in Middlesboro, KY, on December 12, 1937, to the late Leonard “Buck” Harris and Ruth Poore Harris.

She was a graduate of Middlesboro High School and a longtime member of Old Yellow Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James M. Siler, sister, Jo Ann Prelopski, and brother, Royal Harris.

She is survived by the following members of her family:

Son: John Siler of Nashville, TN

Sister: Charlotte Wilder of Speedwell, TN

And a host of nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at 11:00 am at the Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Greene presiding and music provided by her family.

Internment will follow at the Green Hills Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 21, 2017, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Creech Funeral Home.
