Betty Jane Partin, age 77, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017.

She was born January 15, 1940, in Chenoa, KY, to the late Joseph Ellis and Lillie Mae Willis Ellis.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Regina Partin, brothers, Harold Ellis, Clarence Ellis and Boyd Ellis.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She believed in the holiness faith. She loved the Lord and enjoyed sitting on the porch.

She is survived by the following members of her family:

Her husband of 58 years, Johnny Partin

Daughter: Donna (David) Asher

Grandchildren: Shawn (Crystal) Asher and Jody (Jason) Neal

2 Great-grandchildren who were her world: Caleb and Kyle Asher

Brother: Nolan Ellis

Sister-in-law: Ruby Iona Partin

Four special ladies that felt like her daughters: Rhonda (Frankie) Reeder, Patty (Herbie) Collins, Debbie (Bo) Mills, and Lisa (Ernie) Asher

Very special friends: Mandy Owens, Bessie Neal, and Dorothy Jackson

And a host of family and friends

Funeral services will be 2:00pm on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at the Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Bishop, Rev. David Asher, and Rev. David Jackson presiding.

Interment will follow at the John A. Partin Cemetery in Chenoa, KY
Pallbearers will be Shawn Asher, Jason Neal, Frankie Reeder, Tyler Reeder, Cody Reeder, Kevin Collins, Hugh Partin, and Joe Ellis.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the Creech Funeral Home.
