Douglas Allen Reedy, age 54, of Dallas, North Carolina, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 26, 2017.

He was born March 3, 1963, in Grant Town, West Virginia, to the late Donald and Juanita Reedy.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Vida Reedy of Columbus, Ohio, and Will and Zelphia Lewis of Pineville, Kentucky, and his beloved cousin, Lisa Ann Davis Mace.

He was an Army veteran and served in the Korean War.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Sister: Kimberly Ann Reedy, San Diego, California

Uncles: Ray Lewis, New Tazewell, Tennessee and Marion Lewis, Frankfort, Illinois

Aunt: Wilma (Fred) Davis

Cousin: Freddy (Kara) Davis

Beloved cousins: Kaitlyn and Brittany Mace all of Pineville, Kentucky

And a host of other relatives, friends, and coworkers.

Funeral services will be 6:00 pm Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Elkins presiding.

Internment will be 2:00 pm Friday, May 5, 2017, at the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel.
