Homer Harris, age 74, Ferndale, KY, passed away at the Pineville Community Hospital on Wednesday, April 26, 2017.

He was born March 23, 1943, to the late Dorothy and Chester Harris of Ferndale, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Darlene Harris, brothers, JC Harris and Ray “Bug” Harris, all of Ferndale, Kentucky.

He attended the Ferndale Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Ferndale Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Walter Brock presiding. Music will be provided by Sonya Elliott, Kenny Goodin, Bob Ulrich, and Thelma Harris.

Internment will follow at the Harris Cemetery in Ferndale, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be Joe McGinnis, Ben Barnett, Brandon Miracle, Tommy Elliott, Michael Harris, Rodney Miracle, Rodney Brock, Jesse "Bay" Adkins, and Aaron McDonald.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 10:00 pm on Friday, April 28, 2017, at the Ferndale Pentecostal Church.
