She was a member of Binghamtown Baptist Church where she attended until her bad health. She graduated from Middlesboro High School and attended business school. She had worked at Berrans clothing & Hickmans Bath & Kitchen Center. But her most important job was being the best Christian wife, mother & grandmother anybody could ask for.
She was raised in Fonde and was so proud to be a "Coal Miners daughter". She always kept you smiling and laughing at the stories she would tell and the things she would do.
She was a beauty she won many beauty pageants. She loved her hair fixed, her nails polished, her make-up on, and pretty clothes. My Dad would always say "She's as pretty as the first day I met her"!
She loved music and had a beautiful voice. She sung in church ever since she was a little girl. She had played the piano & organ in many churches.
When we think of you, we will shed some tears, cry, smile, and laugh, but we will always remember that you were so kind to everyone you met. You always seen the best in people. You taught us to love & take care of one another. Your talents, morals, values will live in us forever!
She fought a hard battle against the terrible diseases of Parkinsons & dementia, but her toughest battle of living without her love, Ben, was too tough!
God welcomed you into heaven with open arms & said "Job well done", and now you can be with your love, Ben, forever!
You will always be loved and never forgotten, we will see you both in heaven someday!
Pallbearers will be Justin Emmett, Benjamin Hickman, William Hickman, James Essary, Jeff Essary, Johnny Essary.
